Day 01 : Arrival → Negombo (Bandaranaike International Airport)
Your Sri Lanka Buddhist Heritage journey begins the moment you land. A private transfer takes you directly from the airport to Negombo — a short, comfortable drive that lets you settle in and rest before the days ahead.

Day 02 : Negombo → Anuradhapura (Into the Cultural Triangle)
Drive north into Sri Lanka’s ancient Cultural Triangle, arriving at one of the oldest and most sacred cities in the Buddhist world. Founded in the 4th century BC, Anuradhapura was Sri Lanka’s first capital and remains a living place of pilgrimage to this day.

Day 03 : Kandy → Anuradhapura → Sigiriya Via Mihintale & Polonnaruwa
Begin the morning at Mihintale — the sacred hill where Buddhism first arrived in Sri Lanka in 247 BC, when the monk Mahinda met King Devanampiya Tissa. In the evening, explore the magnificent medieval capital of Polonnaruwa before continuing to Sigiriya.

Day 04 : Sigiriya (Full day at Sigiriya)
A day dedicated to one of the ancient world’s most extraordinary achievements — Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century royal citadel rising 200 metres from the surrounding jungle, topped with palace ruins and adorned with centuries-old frescoes.

Day 06 : Kandy → Colombo (Via Kelaniya)
A final morning of sacred sites begins with the most venerated Buddhist relic in the world, before the journey continues to Colombo and a temple associated with the Buddha’s own presence in Sri Lanka.
